TRUST IS THE ROOT OF WHOLENESS
Healing begins with trust.
Our approach to caring for you and your loved ones is rooted in trust. Our providers have observed through our clients and personal journeys that trust is the source of initiating, affirming, and sustaining real healing with your mind + body. Your Opal experience starts with establishing trust between you, your provider, and our community. Free of judgement, we greet you unassumingly, ready to walk the path to wholeness that honors your needs and boundaries.
Trusting in yourself and your body leads to:
Authentic, meaningful, relationships
Resilience to the messy parts of life
Freedom to engage with the world wholly YOU
Resilience is obtained in trusting ourselves
In a world full of criticism, judgement, discrimination, and blame, building and sustaining trust in yourself may seem like an illusion. Every day judgement is ascribed through media, relationships, work experiences, school interactions, microaggressions, and those occasional missteps that make us human. Of course we have a hard time trusting in our own wisdom and power.
Yet it resides at the core of our healing process and is absolutely achievable. We see it every day. With courage and curiosity we see humans, like you, lean into themselves, dig deep, and grow roots of self trust. Our model of trust will allow you to identify the evidence that already exists for you to trust yourself more fully, even in all our beautiful, human, imperfections.
Wholeness is found in trusting our bodies
If reading the heading of this section made your stomach drop, your muscles tense, or guards ignite, you are not alone, and you are in the right place. Daily we hear that overpowering our bodies will make us happy and successful. We are flooded with messages to trust this diet, this pill, this workout; to dress a certain way, hide our skin, tame our sexuality, and fall in line with our assigned genders. Essentially to trust in anything but your body because your body is the source of all negative in your life. Feeling out of control? Fix your body. Feeling unloved? Fix your body. Lacking success in your career? Fix your body.
YOUR BODY IS NOT THE PROBLEM
As humans, we like to feel in control of our relationships, our futures, and our lives. Society has decided that control comes by overpowering and manipulating our bodies. We want to show you that control in your life is not about your body. We want you to learn and experience through our work that trust, not power, between you and your body is the key to sustaining wholeness.
Remember: Body Trust is your foundation; your internal wisdom and body cues are your guides.
